1. General
1.1 These Ticket Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for the
Chai Wa 14 Festival (“Festival”).
1.2 By purchasing or using a ticket for the Festival, the purchaser and ticket holder agree
to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 Tickets may be sold through authorised ticketing partners as well as directly through
the Festival website. Regardless of the platform through which tickets are purchased,
these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
2. Ticket Purchase
2.1 All tickets are sold subject to availability.
2.2 A ticket is valid only for the date, category and event for which it is issued.
2.3 Tickets purchased for VIP, VVIP, accommodation packages, or other premium
experiences may be subject to additional conditions which will be communicated at the
time of purchase.
2.4 The Festival reserves the right to refuse or cancel any ticket purchase where there is
reasonable suspicion of fraud, unauthorised resale, or misuse of the ticketing system.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
3.1 All ticket sales are final.
3.2 Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased.
3.3 Refunds will only be issued in the event that the Festival is cancelled in its entirety.
3.4 If the Festival is postponed or rescheduled, tickets shall remain valid for the new
date.
3.5 In the event of cancellation, refunds shall be issued to the original purchaser through
the original payment method, subject to any applicable ticketing platform procedures.
4. Ticket Transfer and Resale
4.1 Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes without the prior written consent
of the Festival organisers.

4.2 The Festival reserves the right to cancel any ticket that has been resold or transferred
in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
4.3 The Festival is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorised resellers.
5. Admission and Conduct
5.1 Entry to the Festival is subject to presentation of a valid ticket.
5.2 The Festival organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from
the venue whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, illegal, or inappropriate.
5.3 Attendees must comply with all venue rules, safety requirements, and instructions
issued by event staff or security personnel.
6. Event Changes
6.1 The Festival programme, artists, performers, schedules, and other event elements
may be subject to change without prior notice.
6.2 Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
7. Lost or Invalid Tickets
7.1 The Festival organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
7.2 The Festival reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket is suspected to be
fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise invalid.
8. Liability
8.1 Attendance at the Festival is at the ticket holder’s own risk.
8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Festival organisers shall not be liable for
any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained at the Festival, except where such liability
cannot be excluded by law.
9. Media and Recording
9.1 By attending the Festival, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or
recorded as part of the event.
9.2 Such recordings may be used by the Festival organisers for promotional or
commercial purposes.

10. Force Majeure
10.1 The Festival organisers shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or disruption
caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to
acts of God, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or security concerns.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance
with the laws of Kenya.
